National strike in France: Flight cancellations and delays
The national strike is due to air traffic control unions. This is the 11th strike in 12th weeks.
- Ryanair cancelled more than 50 flights and foresee many other delays and cancellations.
- British Airways and easyJet are forced to suspend their French services.
- Air France plans to operate all flights but some delays and cancellations can occur on last minute.
Some airlines prefer to cancel flights than to have too many hours of delay.
This strike will affect the European Championships and its fans: for example, many Irish fans are affected by this strike. Many of them are stuck in France.
