  • Air France Strike: What are your rights?

    , by

The Air France pilots strike is maintained this weekend. It will begin tomorrow and about one fourth of the flights will be canceled.

25% of Air France pilots will participate to the strike and 20% to 30% of flights will be canceled.

In 1998, when the World Cup was held in France, Air France pilots had put pressure on a football competition by announcing a strike before canceling it at the last moment.

But this time, Euro 2016 will be affected by the strike.

But then, what if your flight is canceled or delayed?

Because this is its pilot strike, Air France is responsible.

    • if you have more than 2-hour delay, the company should offer you some food and some drinks
    • if you have to spend a night there, the accommodation and the transport are at the expense of the company
    • if your plane had been canceled, you are able to get another plane with the same conditions or being reimbursed integrally

If these conditions are not met, you should keep all your documents (flight tickets, restaurant bills, hotel bills…) to make a claim. If you do not want to bother with paperwork, make your claim with our RefundMyTicket services to obtain up to €600 compensation per passenger.

Some of your flights have been cancelled, overbooked or delayed in the past years?

You could be entitled to a compensation of up to €600!
