Rocket Pack flight near an Airbus
Equipped with Rocket Pack, Yves Rossy and the French Base Jumper Vince Reffet are flying in formation near an Airbus A380 of Emirates airlines, in the skies of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Yves Rossy, also called Airman, Jetman or Rocketman, is the first in the world to have developed a 2.4m rigid wing equipped with wingspan reactors that enables it to reach 300 km/h. With his invention, he overflew over the western part of the Grand Canyon and crossed the English Channel in slightly less than 10 minutes. Since its first successful attempt in June 2004, he performed more than thirty flights and received for his exploits the Golden Fleece Adventurer in 2009.
